Position Title: Whey Operator

Wage: $26.00/hour

Shift: 12 Hour Nigh Shifts

Hours: 4:00pm - 4:00am (Rotating Schedule)

Whey Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate Equipment: Manage whey separator, reverse osmosis, heat treatment, and polisher systems to produce high-quality whey cream and concentrate.
- Monitor and Record: Track product levels, flow rates, and temperatures, and maintain detailed production logs.
-  Sanitation and Safety: Ensure sanitation of all whey plant equipment, comply with safety and GMP policies, and report any food safety or quality issues.
- Load and Test: Load whey into tank trucks, test outgoing loads, and complete all necessary documentation.
- Chemical Management: Maintain inventory of cleaning chemicals, assist with unloading and storage, and manage waste levels.

Whey Operator Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
-Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs-50% of the shift.
- Standing 100% of the shift.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferably food manufacturing
- Strong operation control and monitoring skills
- Ability to read and comprehend work-related documents and instructions
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Quality-focused with ability follow GMP requirements and food safety requirements
