Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for a newly created Nutrition Informatics position within the NYC Health + Hospitals System.  This virtual position will manage CBORD, Net Menu and related applications used across the health system. 

 

Reporting to the Client Executive, the successful candidate will: 

  • Be responsible for day-to-day management of nutrition menu management systems throughout the system;
  • leverage clinical knowledge and technological capabilities to support patient care excellence;
  • support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects in collaboration with in-unit managers;
  • provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals as needed; and
  • work closely with hospital IT and procurement specialists.

 

Is this opportunity right for you?  We are looking for candidates who will:

  • be a Registered Dietitian with 5+ years of experience;
  • have enhanced skill sets in various computer applications and learn new systems quickly (experience with Epic and CBORD Nutrition Services Suite strongly preferred); 
  • have proven project management experience;
  • work with minimal oversight in collaboration with clinical and operational leaders;
  • be experienced with regulatory accreditation and establishing and maintaining standards of care; and
  • be self-directed, flexible, and a team player with excellent time management, verbal, and written communication skills;

What We Offer:

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement:  Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) (Note: For those seeking registration after 2023, this must be a master’s degree)

Basic Management Experience: 7+ months general supervision  

Basic Functional Experience:  3 years experienced specialized practitioner in a clinical specialty


Credentials Requirement:

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR);
  • certification/ licensure as required by state(s) of practice; specialty credential in area(s) of focused practice, as applicable
