Responsibilities:Researches, designs, develops, and tests a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including radar and radiation detection equipment; radio, television and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; analog and digital computers; and control and test equipment. Designs, develops, and tests electronic systems, components, or circuits for use within equipment or machinery. May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments.
- Works from broadly defined product and systems specifications to determine appropriate top-down controls architecture. Analyzes and communicates customer needs.
- Contributes to the analysis and characterization of the systems including system error analysis, failure mode analysis, and cost analysis.
- Ensures requirements are well developed, reviewed, documented to achieve compatibility and proper integration in finished products.
- Contributes to the test and troubleshooting of systems as part of the design team.
- Interfaces with technical personnel in the diagnosis and resolution of problems encountered
Bachelor's with 12+ years (or commensurate experience)
Clearance required: Secret
Required Skills and Experience:
- 12+ years of experience Eight (8) years of experience, to include: installation of such equipment. Four (4) years of experience, to include: design, preparation and modification of engineering documents, and drawings. Eight (8) years of experience in "Specific Projects" discipline, of which 5 must have been performed within the last 7 years

Posted Pay Range
The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Posted Salary Range: USD $150,000.00 - USD $190,000.00 /Yr.
