Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a Pipefitter to help support the SACSS program in Chula Vista, California.

This is an onsite position, and no relocation assistance is provided.

Must be a US Citizen

Job Description:

  • Supervises the day-to-day workflow of subordinate production workers.

  • Installs, maintains, repairs, overhauls, troubleshoots, modifies, constructs, and tests mechanical equipment and related devices.

  • Troubleshoots and corrects structural placement.

  • Makes recommendations for improvements or modifications to correct problems.

  • May provide operation and maintenance instruction to customer personnel.

  • Performs preventative maintenance.

  • Participates in special projects, as required.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $24.76 - $33.50. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
