Job Title: Cook (Entry-Level)
Location: Marquette, MI
Pay: $16 per Hour

What’s the Job?
-  Assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of menus for events ranging from restaurant meals to catering for weddings, corporate gatherings, and private parties.
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes, quality standards, and dietary requirements. Monitor food levels and replenish items as necessary to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety standards, ensuring a clean and organized work environment. Handle and store food items properly, following health and safety regulations.
-Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with guests and clients during events. Address any guest concerns regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.

What’s Needed?
- Temporary to permanent, full time position.
- Shifts vary: night shift 3pm to ~10pm, day shift 5am to ~2pm. Weekends required. Possibly able to rotate weekends in the future.
- Preferred: knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
