Location: Coldwater Employment Status: Hourly Full-Time Req ID: 27773 Position Summary We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design, development, and delivery of custom Lincoln Electric Automation equipment. This role is ideal for a motivated graduate or early-career professional who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative environment and is eager to grow within a world-class engineering team. Join a team that designs and builds some of the most advanced robotic welding and automation systems in the world. Position Responsibilities Take ownership of assigned tasks to meet aggressive project schedules and budgets (labor hours and material costs). Create small-scale mechanical layouts, 3D models, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks. Verify that every design fully complies with the customer purchase order, quoted scope, and internal specifications. Update design packages to reflect “as-built” configurations for critical components and ensure accurate records for future service and spares. Support the creation and maintenance of digital service manuals and ISO-compliant documentation.
