Your Role

Join Atlas Copco as a Welder where you will perform structural and oil-tight welding with all processes to drawing dimensions (Oxy-Acetylene, Stick, Mig and Tig). You will also use common hand tools, measuring devices, grinders, pipe benders, all types of welding equipment, and lifting equipment. As part of the manufacturing team, you will report to the Package Manufacturing Supervisor and work on-site at our Voorheesville, NY location. The hours for this position will be Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm - 1:30 am.

As the welder you will weld the following:
  • Bases.
  • Pipe fittings to specific dimensions.
  • Panels and supports.
  • Gearboxes
  • Oil and water piping.
  • Process piping.
  • Various Subassemblies.

To succeed, you will need
  • At least one year of welding experience is required.
  • A high school certification of graduation.
  • You can read and understand shop drawings.

  • The salary range for this position is $22.50 - $45.00 an hour. In addition, 2nd shift is entitled to a 10% shift differential.
