ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize Manhattan software to slot products in all warehouse areas (dry, cooler, freezer, PIR) to promote a safe working environment, maximize warehouse efficiency, and minimize errors.
Perform accurate slotting of new items as well as daily slotting moves to increase productivity and cases per pallet.
Monitor, research, and respond to Slot Check inquiries to answer internal questions about item placement.
Support Inventory Control to research and reconcile damaged product.
Support daily replenishment priorities to promote warehouse efficiency and reduce spoilage.
Perform regularly scheduled audits (aisle audits, rack labels, TI/HI, and pallet put-aways).
Communicate daily with warehouse leadership about work status, receiving errors or safety concerns.
Other duties as assigned by manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work will take place both at a desk and in normal warehouse environments including cooler and freezer areas where temperatures may be as low as -5 degrees.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Related Experience/Requirements:
Minimum two years of experience in a warehouse administrative or clerical position.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
Excellent telephone and customer service ability.
Strong math, analytical, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Basic computer skills with a good knowledge of programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Problem solving and critical thinking abilities to solve problems of limited scope.
Strong teamwork skills with the ability to support others in the department and division.
Education
High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior slotting experience preferred.
Knowledge of DOT Hours of Service Regulations.
Knowledge of our geographic delivery area.
Certifications/Training
XATA and Checkpoint experience.
