CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt 

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

ADB is a Nationwide full turnkey provider of technology infrastructure solutions including Wireline, Wireless, ISP, AV, and Engineering. ADB is seeking a Quality Control and Assurance Specialist to provide QAQC support for various OSP utility construction projects. The ideal candidate will be extremely dependable, has exceptional attention to detail, with a strong work ethic, and an ALL IN attitude to achieve results. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Inspect and document fiber placement to match customer specifications for various construction sites 
  • Holds self-accountable to meeting daily, weekly, and monthly milestone metrics assigned by operations leaders and direct Supervisor 
  • Complete and correct OSP utility construction tasks that do not meet required QAQC specifications when found 
  • Ensure that all documentation requested for each project site is provided to operational leaders timely, including updating redlines throughout the progress of projects 
  • Promotes and maintains a safe work environment by following safety all Inspired safety practices and procedures 
  • Performs other position duties when requested by leadership

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) 

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, like sitting, squatting, standing, walking and driving 
  • Must endure regular exposure to all weather conditions, including hot, cold, humid, and rainy during all seasons throughout the year 
  • May be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on active construction sites 
  • Must wear common protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel toed boots when working on-site 

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: 

  • 2+ years of QAQC and/or Inspector experience in utility construction preferred
  • 3+ years of OSP utility construction experience within the telecom industry preferred but not required 
  • Valid driver license with the ability to drive a company vehicle required 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
