Stacker Unscrambler Operator

What you will do:
- Operate the board scrambler at the stacker
- Operator will keep a supply of boards ready for the stacker operator
- Operator will remove mis-sorted lumber, broken pieces and keep boards single layered and flat
- Operator will straighten any skewed lumber on the incline
- Assist Sorter Tender in clearing up any cross ups on bin removal chains
- Assist Stacker Operator as needed to keep production moving
- Responsible for clean up in the Stacker area
- Assist maintenance in repairs, as needed
- Investigate mill down time and offer assistance
- Work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime as scheduled or required.
- Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment and completing all required training.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Education and Experience you will need:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Good communication skills
- Must know how to follow directions
- Must have the ability to learn all required duties
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Quick learner
- Good attendance record
- Eligible to legally work in the United States without employer sponsorship
- Willingness and ability to cross-train to learn new jobs and skills
