Stacker Unscrambler Operator

What you will do:

• Operate the board scrambler at the stacker
• Operator will keep a supply of boards ready for the stacker operator
• Operator will remove mis-sorted lumber, broken pieces and keep boards single layered and flat
• Operator will straighten any skewed lumber on the incline
• Assist Sorter Tender in clearing up any cross ups on bin removal chains
• Assist Stacker Operator as needed to keep production moving
• Responsible for clean up in the Stacker area
• Assist maintenance in repairs, as needed
• Investigate mill down time and offer assistance
• Work rotating shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime as scheduled or required.
• Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment and completing all required training.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Education and Experience you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Good communication skills
• Must know how to follow directions
• Must have the ability to learn all required duties
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Quick learner
• Good attendance record

• Eligible to legally work in the United States without employer sponsorship
• Willingness and ability to cross-train to learn new jobs and skills
