Position: Warehouse Associate

Location: Forest Grove, Oregon (Relocating to Allen Blvd in Beaverton, Oregon)

Job Type: Full-time 8:00am to 4:30pm Mon-Friday
Pay Rate: $25.00/HR

Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming products from various customers, ensuring accurate check-in processes, and organizing items within the warehouse. This role requires physical stamina to lift items up to 50 pounds. Knowledge in IT is advantageous but not required. The primary focus will be on processing used laptops, cell phones, monitors, etc., ensuring they are wiped clean and prepared for resale in international markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and check-in products from various customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of shipments.
  • Organize and store incoming products in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to track and update product status.
  • Inspect and evaluate used electronics, including laptops, cell phones, and monitors, for refurbishment.
  • Perform data wiping and cleansing procedures on electronic devices to ensure data security and privacy.
  • Prepare refurbished items for shipment to international markets, adhering to shipping guidelines and regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling and moving products.
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks.
  • Basic computer skills; familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.

Work Environment:

  • The job location is currently in Forest Grove, Oregon, with plans to relocate to Allen Blvd in Beaverton, Oregon.
  • Casual dress code; no torn clothing or aggressive T-shirts allowed.
  • Closed-toed shoes are required for safety reasons.
