The Role:

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Hands-on software development and technical architecture experience
  • Demonstrates ability to operate in a team environment, strong interpersonal and
  • communication skills
  • Designing user interactions on web pages.
  • Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications.
  • Design and Develop Rest API/Microservices.
  • Develop UI of the application
  • Creating servers and databases for functionality.
  • Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
  • Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.
  • Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
  • Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
  • Participate in team meetings, Scrum calls and client meetings
  • Work with both co-located and distributed teams
  • Work with peers, team leads and supervisors in a collaborative and shared-learning environment

Required qualifications

  • 10+ years of IT experience
  • Experience in Java 11 or 17, Spring framework / Spring Boot 2 or 3
  • Strong understanding and working experience of REST API, 12-factor microservice principles
  • Hands-on experience in Angular 11+
  • Experience in Database - Postgres SQL
  • Exposure to CSS, HTML5, Java Script
  • Good understanding of different types of testing and their importance
  • Experience in Environment/Build - CI/CD, Jenkins, OpenShift, Kubernetes
  • Exposure to AWS is a nice to have skill.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL AWS JavaScript Spring Boot Java MySQL and Angular JS. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site with a day shift schedule. The candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining software solutions that drive our companys success.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java Spring Boot and JavaScript.
  • Design and implement database solutions using SQL and MySQL to ensure data integrity and performance.
  • Utilize AWS services to deploy manage and scale applications in a cloud environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Implement front-end solutions using Angular JS to create responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including planning development testing and deployment.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers to foster their growth and development.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the improvement of development processes and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver solutions that align with company goals.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of SQL and MySQL for database management and optimization.
  • Have extensive experience with AWS services for cloud-based application deployment and management.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend development.
  • Show expertise in JavaScript and Angular JS for front-end development.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Have a proven track record of writing clean maintainable and efficient code.
  • Possess strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
