Wage: $20.00 - $25.00/hour

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:
- Produce components and finished hydraulic pumps, valves and motors on several different product lines by assembling parts and subassemblies
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Read and decipher schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions
- Position or align components and parts, either manually or with hoists
- Use hand tools, assembly fixtures, or power tools to assemble parts
- Examine connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
- Resolve assembly problems by notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources
- Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Document actions by completing production and quality forms
Requirements for Mechanical Assembler:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of assembly experience; experience with hydraulic assembly is a plus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings including schematics, blueprints and assembly instructions
- Mechanical aptitude
- Simple math skills
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion
