As a Technical Writer, you will be part of the Base Operations department supporting fleet maintenance and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Foster City
Shift: Monday to Friday; Day shift (8am-5pm or 9am-6pm)
Pay Range: $40.54/hour

What’s the Job?
•    Create and update vehicle operations manuals and mission readiness documentation.
•    Develop vehicle-level inspection, maintenance, and repair procedures.
•    Author software programming and post-repair bring-up guidelines.
•    Document fleet upgrade and rework procedures.
•    Write technical service bulletins for various stakeholders.

What’s Needed?
•    Bachelor's degree with a focus in Technical Writing.
•    2-5 years of experience as a technical writer or in a relevant field.
•    Proficiency with Google Suite and MS Office.
•    Experience with topic-based writing concepts and markup languages (HTML, XML, or DITA XML).
•    Strong written and oral communication skills, along with cross-functional teamwork abilities.
