As a Delivery Experience Ambassador, you will represent the Rooms To Go brand by ensuring our delivery partners execute the appropriate delivery experience while in our customer's home. Each day you are expected to follow a delivery partner and conduct an audit that reflects the appropriate service wear appearance, communication with Dispatch and customers, professionalism, handling care of furniture and home, and ensure the regulatory compliance on regulations are performed on a predetermined route. Routes will be conducted through an audit type approach. Not only will you provide guidance to the delivery partner you will be on-site to offer customer support as necessary. This role will require a highly accountable individual who is self-motivated, organized and detailed, that can effectively communicate, and drive expected performance changes to increase delivery partner survey results and the overall delivery experience.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and interact with the delivery partners to ensure all standards and processes are met and provide coaching and feedback, as necessary.
- Become a subject matter expert on policies, processes and product line so that solutions are recommended in real-time to our customers and delivery partners.
- Ensure quality aspects are performed at the highest level. Input from our delivery partners for challenges and quality issues that need a closed loop feedback approach with DC's/Cross-Docks.
- Leverage strong communication skills (verbal, written and listening) to effectively collaborate with your delivery team, internal partners, and customers
- Continuous improvement in performance and performance gap opportunities
OUR REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license and able and willing to work outside normal business hours
- Strong verbal, written and listening skills and the ability to build rapport through open and honest communication.
- Proactive, organized, and detail oriented and motivated to find solutions in unknown environments or scenarios
- Proficient computer skills to ensure surveys are correctly produced, Microsoft Office
- Proficient in DT, to ensure coaching is communicated when gaps appear.
OUR PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift and move small to medium items, up to 50 lbs., while utilizing appropriate safety techniques
