Shipper

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the industrial sector, is seeking a Shipper to join their team. As a Shipper, you will be part of the Shipping and Receiving department supporting the company's domestic and international customer orders. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be a team player, and have experience in a warehouse or shipping/receiving environment.

Job Title: Shipper

Location: Hatfield, PA

Pay Range: $17 per hour

What's the Job?

• Pick, pack, and consolidate materials for customer orders
• Inspect items to assure materials are free from damage
• Fold, staple, and tape standard and non-standard boxes
• Mount and secure large shipments onto skids, crates, or boxes
• Build crates as required

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in a storeroom, warehouse, or shipping/receiving preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows preferred
• Familiarity with UPS & FEDEX label machines, packing tape dispenser, foam-in-place machine, bander, pallet wrapper, manual & powered hand truck, forklift, battery charger, pneumatic stapler, and protective eyewear preferred
• Able to work with others in a team environment
• Able to follow company safety policies and procedures
• Able to be trained and qualified to operate powered lift trucks
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand instructions in English
• Able to stand and walk continuously
• Able to occasionally bend, squat, twist, kneel and reach
• Able to lift and carry 80 lbs occasionally
