Duration: 24 months Contract
Pay Range $20 to $25.00/hr.

We are looking for a “Printer Technician” to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Field Service Representative to join our team at HP. In this customer-facing, non-exempt position, you will provide comprehensive hardware support and related services specifically to HP's PC Products customers. The role involves supporting a wide range of products, including laptops, desktops, RPOS, and workstations, with printer knowledge being a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide on-site hardware support and related services to HP's PC Products customers.
• Educate customers about technology and manage critical service events.
• Interact with multiple levels of both HP and customer management/teams.
• Troubleshoot various hardware problems on printers, including third-party software, networks, and switches.
• Balance and prioritize multiple activities and issues effectively.
• Understand the financial aspects and business impact of service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with customers and manage their expectations.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to administrative responsibilities.
• Make business-based decisions while managing risks to meet HP's and the customer's needs.
• Work independently while adhering to standard procedures and business standards.
• Provide solid technology solutions and options to customers based on industry/company knowledge.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and alignment apparatus.
• Alignment with customer's business needs while meeting HP's contractual commitments.
• Logical and systemic troubleshooting skills for hardware problems.
• Strong interpersonal verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to quickly evaluate technical situations and manage operational challenges.
• Excellent prioritization, planning, and independent working skills.

• Ability to bend, crawl, stoop, sit, lift, and move 50 pounds of weight.
• Availability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including non-traditional workdays, holidays, and shift work.
• Onsite customer-facing experience.
• Technical/mechanical hardware repair experience.
• Demonstrated aptitude for learning new technology.
• High school diploma or equivalent, plus additional hardware technology training; college preferred.
