Patients and their families rely on Compass?Health Center when?in?crisis – every day, we?help people overcome depression, anxiety, suicidality, obsessions/compulsions, trauma, chronic pain, and other obstacles in order for our patients to live freely.About This RoleWe are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about addressing the current nationwide behavioral health crisis, while working on interdisciplinary treatment teams within an organization that is redefining the standard of comprehensive PHP/IOP care. You will play a pivotal role in a growing, mission-driven environment that accommodates provider autonomy to create innovative and individualized treatments for each patient. This role will be focused on treating patients in our our child, adolescent and adult programs.What You'll Do:Performing complete initial psychiatric evaluation on patient to determine diagnosis and develop plan of care including medication prescription, if indicatedRevising, prescribing, and implementing therapeutic regimen using an interdisciplinary approachMonitoring patient progress and providing collaborative treatment and communication with the treatment teamProviding timely documentation of each encounter with a patientEnsuring patient/family education regarding clinical condition and relevant aspects of careWorking in collaboration with treatment team members to ensure quality of care and consideration of servicesMaintaining required level of continuing education and preferred development activitiesUsing interpersonal and communication skills that enable one to establish and maintain professional relations with patients, families, colleagues and other members of the healthcare teamWho You Are:Licensed or possess the ability to obtain license as an Advance Practiced Nurse in the State of IllinoisANCC National Board Certification in Psychiatry- PMHNP CertificationPrescriptive AuthorityDEA licenseLicensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois DNP or MSN from an accredited Nursing ProgramCPR certifiedExperience with patients in crisis1+ years’ experience prescribingExperience with multiple specialties including mood and anxiety, mental health and substance use, OCD and complex anxiety, and traumaWe know job descriptions can be intimidating, so if this sounds like an opportunity for you, please don't hesitate to applyWho We AreCompass Health Center is a recognized leader in crisis-level mental health, bringing passion, connection, and patient-centered care to the Partial?Hospitalization?and Intensive Outpatient space (PHP/IOP).
