Overview:
The HR Coordinator will be a key player in driving employee engagement at Baxter’s Manufacturing Facility. This role is instrumental in managing payroll, leaves administration, supporting employee relations, and HR policies.
Pay rate: $47.00 - $49.00 per hour dependent on experience
Responsibilities:
Weekly Payroll and Compensation:
Review, correct, and approve weekly payroll.
Assist employees and managers with payroll-related questions and issues.
Support the Annual Compensation Review process and conduct bi-annual compensation reviews.
Employee Relations:
Assist in employee investigations and issue resolutions.
Collaborate with managers on completing disciplinary actions.
Act as the primary HR contact for Penicillin team leaders and employees.
Coordinate leave of absences and accommodation requests.
Employee Engagement:
Communicate proactively with employees and managers on HR policies, practices, and key HR programs.
Lead exit surveys and identify areas to improve employee engagement strategies.
Support new employee orientation; collect I9 documentation and process entries in Workday.
Additional Responsibilities:
Generate monthly and ad-hoc reports for site leaders.
Process Workday tasks and lead the title standardization project.
Participate in interview panels.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
No Cephalosporin or Penicillin allergies.
1+ years of experience in a similar role, with a focus on payroll, benefits, or HR administration.
Proficient in HRIS systems and payroll software.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
Flexible to meet the needs of employees in a 5-day, 3-shift operation.
Skilled in navigating the organization to find the right solutions and knowing when to seek guidance.
Initiative-taker with minimal direction.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Advanced Excel preferred).
