The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet established quality standards. This role involves conducting inspections, testing products, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality control, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other functions. This role will support the Receiving Inspection team located at 330 Carter Road, Princeton, NJ 08540 USA.What You Will Do:
Perform inspections of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Interpret and adhere to quality standards, specifications, and procedures.
Use measurement tools and equipment to verify product dimensions and quality.
Document inspection results and maintain detailed records.
Identify and report defects, deviations, and non-conformities.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
Participate in Material Review Board (MRB) meeting.
Assist in developing and updating inspection plans.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires bachelor's degree (B.S. in Engineering, Science, Tech, or Mathematics) or in lieu of degree a minimum of 6 years of quality or manufacturing experience.
US Citizenship is required due to government contracts.
Qualifications We Value:Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong knowledge of quality control principles, tools, and techniques.
Experience with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
Experience with using a microscope.
Experience working with optical components (lens, windows, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions:The role may require working with a microscope for extended periods and handling small, delicate components.

This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.The salary range for this role is 70,000 USD - 142,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
