Job DescriptionPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. Complete all relevant company web-based training. Manage and coordinate the activities of staff including training, employee development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and the establishment of goals and performance objectives for assigned department. Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment. Direct facility operations including facility layout, utilities, infrastructure and general facility and asset maintenance. Initiate corrective action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformities and identify and record any problems relating to operations, process, and quality system. Participate in action plans for new projects as defined by manager. Responsible for upkeep of facility and equipment. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned by manager. Manage 5S program and housekeeping as required by procedures.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred 2 years of shop manager experience preferred

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment at times. Ability to communicate professionally with internal and external customers. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed. Ability to manage various personalities Normal work schedule is 7am - 6pm Monday thru Friday and is subject to change due to demands. Manager may change schedule depending on needs. May have to work some weekends.
