Erie Forge and Steel, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Welder Trainee for 2nd shift. Erie Forge is looking for an individual who is interested in working in the welding trade and have little experience or schooling. This is an 18-month entry level position (after passing 90-day probationary period), where you will be trained to perform all duties in our welding and heat treat department up to and including training and passing one weld certification and our welder workmanship requirements. After the successful completion of this training, you will be eligible to bid into our higher welding classes.
