We are looking for a dedicated Nuclear Technologist PRN like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsThe Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepare and administer radioactive chemical compounds, known as radiopharmaceuticals. You will perform patient imaging procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation. You will provide images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation. The patient population may range from newborn to geriatric.You will:Provide care appropriate to condition and age of the patientPrepare stock solutions of Radiopharmaceuticals and materialsPractice aseptic/sterile technique for all procedures Work within the Nuc Med Tech scope of practice according to policy and proceduresFollow all general infection control measures and those specific to the departmentComplete required documentation accurately immediately after completing each caseWhat qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateCertified Medical Radiologic TechnologistNuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)Associate DegreeHCA Florida Highlands Hospital is a 126-bed acute hospital.
