Position Title: Quality Inspector
Wage: $17.00 - $18.00/hour
Shift: 2nd
Hours: 2:00pm - 10:30pm (Train on 1st 6:00am - 2:30pm)
QPS Employment Group has a great Quality Inspector position available at a company in Waukegan, IL. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Quality Inspector Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Use precision measuring instruments, blueprints and drawings
- Evaluate received and manufactured products for conformance to specifications, recording and reporting result according to documented procedural requirements
- Control inspection stamps
- Perform inspection support function as assigned by management
- Maintain clean work area
Quality Inspector Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic arithmetic and English skills
- At least one to three years of related experience
- Manual dexterity to be able to hold instruments and sense by touch the pressure a measuring instrument is applying to the measured piece
- Visual acuity adequate to ensure manufactured received product conform to all appropriated specifications
- Familiarity with blueprint and measuring instruments sufficient to determine conformance to specifications desired
