Reports To:  General Sales Manager
 
As a reservationist you will support the Sales team in creating memories and fun for special outings and events at the park. You’ll assist our sales team in getting the t’s crossed and the i’s dotted; you’ll ensure our clients receive the attention they need; and you’ll successfully communicate with park teams so events run smoothly. The reservationist helps bring the mission of Six Flags to life for thousands of park guests each year
As a Reservationist at Six Flags New England... 
 
You’ll contribute to your mission by:

Supporting the Six Flags Mantra – Friendly, Clean, Fast, and Safe Service
Clerical functions and client communication, including email and phone call correspondence with groups of 100+ coming to the park
Assisting with fulfillment of general sales material requests, ordering tickets, invoicing, and ensuring receipt of payment
Communicating with park teams to ensure the successful execution of events
Assisting in the execution of Group Sales and Marketing events
Preparing and maintaining a clean and safe event area
Maintaining accurate files and records for all clients
Assisting with group information and contact database input
Anticipating and troubleshooting errors under the whole sales umbrella
Assisting in other areas of the Department
Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
Performing other duties as assigned or necessary to support Six Flags New England

 
You’ll do it with your:

Ability to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
Ability to pick up on and learn systems for the role
Able to deal with clients over the phone and through email in a professional and pleasant manner
Excellent record-keeping and organization
Sense of Fun

Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
Ability to read, speak, write, and understand the English language
Able to work a minimum of 10 hours per week
18 years old or older

EXPERIENCE


Park experience and detailed knowledge of park functions preferred, but not required. Telemarketing experience helpful. Computer skills required.

MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND


Requires normal visual and mental demand.




PHYSICAL DEMAND


Requires long hours standing, or continuous sitting, bending, eye/hand coordination, near vision, hearing, and speech.  Requires frequent kneeling, manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and color definition. Requires good vision with near and far acuity. Requires using telephones, radios, and computer equipment. Requires the ability to move and work in different workstations, hand and arm movement.
·        Must be able to ambulate comfortably throughout the course of the
·        day over various surfaces.
·        Must be able to lift 30 lbs consistently.
·        Must be able to lift and carry 30 lbs over 25 feet over various surfaces.
·        Must be able to lift and lower 15 lbs above shoulder level.




WORKING CONDITIONS


Continuously works inside and closely with others.  Primarily works alone; is exposed to dust, dirt, and water. Must be able to function in all weather conditions.
