Why Ro Health: Schedules to complement your lifestyleCompetitive compensation and weekly paychecksVarious career development opportunitiesCommuter benefits up to $315/month through our partnership with EdenredAdministrative and clinical support when you need it mostHealthcare benefits for eligible providersAll providers earn PTO and sick time, even when working a per diem schedule Overview: In-personLakewood and surrounding school districtsSchedule M-F up to 20hrs per weekCompensation 20-29Start date ASAP Responsibilities: Providing support either in a 1:1 or general capacity:As a 1:1 support: you would be going to each class with your student to provide behavioral and educational support throughout the day. 1:1 supporters are responsible to ensure their student is on task and working towards their behavioral goals.General classroom supports: providers who are assigned to work with a single teacher or classroom. In this role, providers will support wherever they are needed most by the teacher. Typically every day looks different in this position, and you may be working with several different students throughout your day.Calm, clear, and concise communication with both children and adultsAbility to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of timePotential need to frequently bend, crouch, and lift (up to 40 pounds)Potential toileting assistance Qualifications: High school diploma AND AA Degree or higher, 48 Semester Credits, 72 Quarter CreditsOR Para Pro Exam Completion upon hire (passing score 455) we can get you set up for this when onboarding based on commitment to the hiring processStrong assessment skillsWillingness to assist in students' learning processesCPR card within the past 2 years in-personTB result from the past 1 yearWe can sign you up for both CPR and TB if necessaryInclination to work well in a team environmentPreferred qualifications:Previous experience in schoolsRight Response Trained Benefits (eligibility dependent on employment status): Paid time offMedical, dental, and vision coverage401K with employer matchingDirect depositSingle point of contact Does this role sound like the right fit for you?
