Our proprietary coatings and heat treatment protect customer-supplied components such as mandrels, fishing tools, and conveyors in oil and gas, mining, power generation, and plastics industries.What will you do? Your day to day success is determined by your ability to: • Contribute to production by operating CNC machines • Set up machine, observe operation, and inspect first run and sample work pieces to ensure machining conforms to specifications • Create and edit programs • Maintain a safe working environment and promote health and safety awareness • Keep machines up and running efficiently • Monitor and communicate any maintenance and inspections to CNC machines • Work with operations to determine scheduling of workloads • Troubleshoot issues during the manufacturing process • Document all scrap material and maintain a clear record of inventory • Ensure proper training and mentoring is conducted for all staff • Participate in continuous process improvement • Perform other duties as requiredWith Quality in mind, you also bring the following: • A minimum of 3 years experience or training in a manufacturing environment • Ability to perform programming, editing, setup and operations of CNC machines • Experience with G-Code programming • Ability to use GibbsCAM software an asset • Knowledge in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables • Passion in delivering accuracy and quality as a priorityStill excited for the challenge?
