Testing of drug products including Container Closure Integrity, Instron, Mass Extraction, HIAC, Volume, Moisture, and Malvern
Handling, and disposing of samples
Calibrates or verifies calibration of instruments/devices before use.
Accurately records test results and reports any quality anomalies
Maintains laboratory supplies and performs laboratory housekeeping as assigned
Ensures excellent customer service to clients
Participates in required training activities
Complies with all pertinent regulatory agency requirements
QualificationsThe Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
Ability to learn new techniques, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Detail-oriented with a desire to do things right the first time
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desire to work in a moderately physical role that requires much of the time standing
Strong computer and organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or other science-related degree concentration, or equivalent directly related experience
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional InformationThe position is full-time and permanent, Sun-Wed from 12 pm to 10:30 pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates living near Rensselaer, New York are encouraged to apply.
