CNC / Manual skilled machinist to plan, lays out and constructs wooden or metal patterns for sand molds castings Will also work with Metal / Composite materials to assemble, repair and fabricate patterns and core boxes for sand molds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Rigging and general repair of patterns and core boxes.
Planning and producing general shapes sized to specific drawing requirements
Overall maintenance skills to assemble and repair steel permanent molds

Requirements:

Experienced in Set-up & operating wood and metal shop equipment (mills, lathes, saws, planers , sanders)
Employee tools required - Basic carpentry tools (hammer, pliers, measuring, fastening, chisels)
Ability to troubleshoot and repair patterns and /or pattern equipment
Basic knowledge of foundry process
Advance blueprinting reading skills
HS Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 3 years experience
Able to life up to 40 lbs
