Develop, document and maintain a Quality Manual and related quality system procedures compliant to AS9100/ISO9001 as well as assure processes are mutually agreed upon and implemented within all functional areas.
Develop controls for ensuring conformance to established commercial standards and aerospace requirements. Develop appropriate measures for assuring compliance to the defined processes.
Coordinate project timelines and manage multi-department working teams. Represent Quality in project teams and assist in meeting team goals through coaching, training, guiding, directing, consulting and teaching personnel as necessary
Manage the Corrective Action Request (CAR) process (includes CARs/PARs/etc.) by tracking CAR status and ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions are effective and timely. Work with other departments and personnel as necessary to assure accurate responses and perform verification and follow up activities
Manage the Supplier Quality process by monitoring the supplier's performance and issuing request for improvement actions that require root cause analysis and corrective actions to be effective and timely. Work with suppliers as necessary to assure accurate responses and perform verification and follow up activities. Work with Purchasing to identify the suppliers that require on site audits of their facilities
Manage overall Product Realization Process-from product input through delivery, including supplier quality management.
Effectively manage compliance to quality procedures and continuously improve the quality management system
Participate in business reviews and provide recommendations to improve quality
Administer the Quality Audit System to ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Systems per AS9100 requirements. Create and establish audit schedules, plans and check sheets for internal and external (customer, 3rd party/registrar) audits. Lead reporting of audit findings. Establish and maintain records of compliance, analyze audit metrics and develop improvement plans
Review contracts and proposals for quality compliance issues
Responsible for managing team output and performance; performance management duties include communicate job expectations and accountability, establish employee goals, provide timely feedback/coaching for employee development, and write and conduct performance reviews
Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure effective communication of quality issues and initiatives to all relevant stakeholders.
Drive a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence throughout the organization.
This is an on-site position, 9/80 work schedule.
Minimal travel less than 10%.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, and/or the combined equivalent of education and experience.
8-10 years of proven experience in quality management, preferably in the manufacturing or technology sectors.
Must be a US citizen, eligible for Secret security clearance.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 9001).
At least 3 years of experience working in the aerospace industry, in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in defense electronics and/or familiarity with military workmanship standards is desired
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience/ knowledge of quality techniques such as root cause analysis, FMEA, control plans, and lean/six sigma.
