Work is reviewed for technical adequacy or conformity with instructions. This technician performs at this level one or a combination of such typical duties as:Successful candidates will demonstrate
Seven (7) years of full-time professional experience as a Mechanical Engineer Technician with specific experience in the following: watercraft propulsion systems including propeller, shaft, and reduction gears; auxiliary equipment and systems including raw water, potable water, engine exhaust, fuel, lube oil, air conditioning/handling, compressed air, heating/cooling, hydraulic systems, all fluid systems, and support equipment.
Current Secret Clearance

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
Ability to work independently and as part of a team under project deadlines.
Experience supporting test and evaluation of maritime mechanical systems.

RESPONSIBILITIESResponsibilities include mechanical systems engineering technician support in one or more of the following in support of watercraft engineering and marine services: watercraft propulsion systems including propeller, shaft, and reduction gears; auxiliary equipment and systems including raw water, potable water, engine exhaust, fuel, lube oil, air conditioning/handling, compressed air, heating/cooling, hydraulic systems, all fluid systems, and support equipment.
