Description9 West can hold 24 patients, featuring 20 private rooms and 2 semi-private rooms.

COMMON DIAGNOSES: CHF Exacerbation, Stroke, COPD Exacerbation, Atrial Fibrillation with RVR, Chest Pain, Post Cardiac Catheterization, Pacemakers, Hypo/Hypertension, Urinary Tract Infection, Sepsis, Acute and Chronic Kidney Failure
Shift Available: Fulltime Nights
Sign on Bonus: $8,000
Position Summary
Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
Essential Functions

Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care.
Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.
Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.

QualificationsQualificationsEducationOther Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing Required or (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing Required (BSN) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred Other Accredited Program Diploma in Nursing Required or (ADN) Associate's Degree in Nursing Required or (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Knowledge of nursing process and practice. Required Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies (ie. stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices. Required Licenses and CertificationsRegistered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio Required and Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Adult and Pediatric Advanced Life Support may be required based on clinical area standards.
