This position will also evaluate and resolve the technical feasibility, design optimization and production flow of products in the manufacturing plant. What you will be doing: Responsible for proposing cost savings projects and delivering annual cost savings target Evaluate new and existing suppliers for all purchases assigned Responsible for identifying process improvements within procurement Responsible for recommending alternatives to products specified by Engineering and sales. Responsible for analyzing costs for purchased products Assemble facts and data in order to make an informed decision on issues related to pricing, delivery, and quality. Responsible for processing daily purchase orders, follow up on confirmations and late material deliveries Responsible for tracking quality issues related to suppliers and managing corrective actions

The skills and experience you need: Bachelor Degree Preferred - Preferably Supply Chain Management, Business, Accounting, or Engineering Procurement experience directly related to sourcing and purchase order management preferred Experience with Raw Materials and manufacturing related sourcing, preferred Experience in managing supplier performance objectives (quality, price, delivery) Strong oral and written communication skills required Strong organizational skills required Analytical and problem solving skills required Strong Excel skills required
