Machinist Lead

Key Accountabilities
As a Machinist Lead you will be responsible for carrying out, following up on daily work, and manning adjustments within multiple manufacturing and assembly departments.
Effectively communicate, advise, train and instruct operators with machining procedures on various types of equipment throughout several departments.
Ensure machines are running and maintained properly.
Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Support company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and continuous improvement initiatives throughout areas of the shop
Partner with machinists to ensure projects are completed on time and quality is being met.
Will perform various other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent GED required (Associate Degree preferred)
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, operating and programming CNC machines
Machine Shop and Assembly Floor experience preferred
Ability to accurately read and comprehend moderately complex material such as blueprints, work instructions, ISO procedures
Ability to support constructive work relationships, communicating both orally and in writing
Ability to maintain an even demeanor in the face of adversity and exemplify strong, confident, and fair leadership
Ability to use a computer with clear instructions and procedures
Ability to problem-solve
Ability to read and comprehend English
Ability to lift up to 35lbs
