This position will involve identifying technical requirements, identifying technical issues and concerns to be brought to the customers attention, and having the ability to develop potential solutions to these issues/concerns. The incumbent should be well versed in In-Service engineering knowledge on multiple platforms including 688, 688i, Seawolf Class, VA Block I/II, VA Block III/IV/V/VI, UK Trafalgar Class, Canadian Victoria Class, and Australian Collins Class submarines and have experience with the Weapon Launch System (WLS) for new construction developments, Weapon/Payload to WLS interface (ICD/IDS) developments, and In-Service modernizations, and problem resolutions. Essential functions:
Performing systems engineering functions
Adhering to all safety requirements and following procedures.
Troubleshooting systems
Technical report writing
Outstanding Oral and Written communication

Required education and experience:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Preferred education and experience:Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
Competencies:
Knowledge and experience in understanding of Navy Combat Systems
Knowledge and ability to perform systems engineering efforts
Ability to work with customers and a team
Ability to develop technical reports
