What’s a typical day as a Sanitization Technician? You’ll be:


Adhering to all environmental, health, and safety SOPs, equipment, policies, and procedures, including department-specific requirements.
Maintaining a mindset that all accidents can be prevented and working proactively to achieve zero harm in the workplace.
Following defined Quality Management Systems, all applicable procedures, reviewing maintenance records, and completing all documentation as required.
Maintaining a continuous flow of the servicing line and working independently and as part of a team to achieve process yield results.
Receiving and unpackaging all incoming medical devices and following procedures to assess proper disposition of medical equipment.
Using chemical solutions to disinfect and sanitize devices, production equipment, or the immediate work environment (e.g., diluted bleach solution, hydrogen peroxide, alcohol wipes, etc.).
Operating and monitoring UV cleaning equipment and escalating issues as needed.
Preparing cleaning and sanitizing solutions as per standard operating procedures.
Rotating into assembly, repair, shipment preparation, and test areas as needed.
Training employees on an as-needed basis.
Performing other duties as assigned.
