Job DescriptionEducation Qualifications:Educational Requirements:Completion of a phlebotomy training course is preferredPreferred Requirements:1 year of experience preferred. Job Description:Will obtain specimens on patients of newborn to elderly as required including, but not limited to, Venous, Arterial, Capillary and point of care specimen. May be required to perform designated laboratory tests. Will exhibit problem solving skills and participate in specimen processing, specimen transport and customer service as required. Licensure/Certification Qualifications:Certification/Licensure Required:Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator's license preferredAmerican Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification in phlebotomy preferredJob Location: Virginia ClinicShift Rotation: Day Rotation (United States of America)Shift Start/End: Day Rotation/Day RotationHours Per Pay Period: 64Compensation Range: $17.12 - $22.70 / hourUnion: DC AFSCME Local 3454 Virg Clinic (DCAVA)FTE: 0.8Weekends:Call Obligations:Sign On Bonus:
