The RN Infection Preventionist reports directly to the Director of Quality and Risk Management, collaborating closely with Case Management, Employee Health, and Safety teams. This role also partners with the Clinical Evaluation Committee and Medical Staff to ensure effective infection control policies are implemented and maintained.
The Infection Prevention department oversees a 400-bed facility, focusing on reducing infection risks and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The Hospital Infection Preventionist will collaborate with a skilled team of epidemiologists, clinical researchers, and laboratory scientists, fostering a professional and innovative environment. This role is integral to achieving the highest standards of patient safety and quality care.
The Hospital Infection Preventionist will oversee infection prevention programs throughout the hospital, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and improving patient outcomes.
