Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate Amada press brake machines to bend, form, and shape sheet metal according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Select the appropriate tooling and materials for each job.
Monitor machine operations to ensure products meet quality standards and tolerances.
Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines, including cleaning and lubricating parts.
Troubleshoot issues with machine operation and make adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and workflow.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a press brake operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
Strong mathematical skills and ability to accurately measure and calculate dimensions.
Knowledge of different types of metal and their properties.
Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials.
Excellent attention to detail and quality.
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Visually inspect parts for cosmetic defects.
