Then this is the job for youA 131-unit condominium building in Hackensack, New Jersey's up-and-coming neighborhood is searching for a live-in superintendent. Key Responsibilities: As a key member of our building team, the successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of a full-service building with 24-hour door staff and (1) handy/ (2)porter people.Available on-call 24/7 for any issues or emergencies.Maintain property, including daily walkthroughs to identify and resolve any issues. Knowledge of basic plumbing, general maintenance, and repairs. Supervise vendors, schedule appointments, and oversee work being completed. Collaborate with landscapers and tree service companies for grounds maintenance. Supervise seasonal tasks such as pool opening/closing and routine upkeep.Handle snow and ice removal on sidewalks and walkways.Work with vendors to manage heating and cooling systems.Report directly to the management company and the board of directors. Requirements:Must have a valid Black-Seal License Able to interact effectively with everyone in the building, including residents, staff, vendors, and visitors. Experience in plumbing and general maintenance is required.Strong communicator, interpersonal skills, administrator, and problem solver.Proven ability to manage staff, time schedule, and multi-task multiple projects.Entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to your craft, and building upkeep.   Fluency in conversational Spanish or other languages is a plus. Salary & Benefits:50K-70K, depending on experience. This position comes with a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath apartment.  If interested, please send your resume and cover letter to
