Koch Specialty Plant Services is looking for a Project Quality Manager to join their team The Project Quality Manager is responsible for all quality facets of a project constructed by KSPS through every phase of a project, including project completion. Daily interactions with KSPS engineering, client, project managers, etc., to assure projects are prepared, executed, and completed in accordance with contract documents, and applicable Code requirements including the National Board. Project Quality Manager is to be knowledgeable in multiple types of projects, such as civil, structural, piping, heaters, exchangers, flares, boilers, towers and more. This role will support project management and ensure customer requirements are achieved from a quality standpoint. This includes reading and being knowledgeable on project technical documents that contain specific, critical, and sometimes unique inspection points for a product. This role must effectively communicate those expectations to the project leadership team and other project parties using our Engineering Resource Planning tools and Inspection Test Plan Documents. This role will verify these tasks are completed and successfully work through others to achieve project requirements. Excellent documentation of these tasks and their results are expected as a deliverable to customer and project managers at the conclusion of a project. Work with Sales and Estimating on projects to review quotes/estimate as needed, and clarify the scope and impact of code/client requirements
Review project scopes of work, project specifications, material types, welding requirements, and relay information to project team
Develop Project Weld Map/Flange Mapping, specific ITP's or Travelers and quality plan
Interface with Engineering to prepare installation packages by reviewing project specific weld procedures, welder testing requirements, continuity, composing RFI's, and review and comment on drawings for field installation
Interface with the Document Control department to help to provide accurate client/project protocols and responsibilities for each project
Assist with vetting subcontractors
Quality Project kick off with Project Management team and subcontractors
Review returned project package documentation for accuracy and completeness
Perform field audits as needed
Review and approve procedures, written practice, and NDE Certifications for NDE contractors
Support Quality Team with continuous transformation and innovation of how quality is performed, documented and KPI's are presented.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Craft trades experience in the petrochemical and/or oil & gas industry including civil, structural, piping, towers and combustion equipment
Quality Lead/Management experience
Must have a current CWI and/or API 510
Experience developing ITP's
Experience with NDE processes and procedure's
Estimated Travel 25%
