TruckPro is seeking a Trailer - Driveline Technician who is committed to repairing light duty trailers (various models) to specific customer and industry-standard specifications. This role will also perform driveline repairs.

Trailer - Driveline Technician Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot electrical systems (lighting, electric brakes)
Replace axles, electric and hydraulic brake assemblies, and trailer fenders
Repair trailer suspension (welding hanger brackets, replacing leaf springs)
Repair or replace trailer couplers and jacks
Perform basic welding functions
Assemble and disassemble drivelines; wash parts and inspect parts, discarding damaged parts
Take micrometer measurement of flywheels; regrind flywheel to specifications
Reassemble, time and balance as needed
Tag and place units in inventory for customer pick-up
Inform customer/manager of completion times, services expenses, and possible changes
Submit work orders for invoicing
Maintain inventory and supplies
Prepare list of required replacement parts
Clean work area as required and maintain equipment
Adhere to all environmental, health and safety standards

Successful Trailer-Driveline Technician Will Have:

Minimum 1 year technician experience with light-duty trailer repairs preferred, not required
Basic tools and/or the willingness to purchase tools required for the job as you advance in your skill level and responsibilities (TruckPro offers a tool purchase reimbursement program)
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
