Job Description

The Work itself: Austin Click2Pay team is looking for a talented Software Engineer – Senior Consultant Level

You will lead Test Engineering efforts for the?Click2Pay (Secure Remote Commerce SRC) Checkout team, regional initiatives, and future services. 

 

Essential Qualifications 

Build test automation script?to support end to end tests 

Ensure efficient test case management across our software portfolio 

Set standards for test case format and coverage 

Build test tools to improve quality and performance 

Establish coding and test automation standards 

Lead efforts to design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites 

Design testing environments to mirror production 

Collaborate with development leads to ensure alignment in testing coverage and engineering standards 

Work closely with quality assurance engineers and provide technical guidance to peers as needed. Works with product owners to gather and refine requirements for one product, adding and considering existing tools and solutions across departments.Develops and designs moderately advanced test solutions that are robust and scalable, considering integrations with other solutions across the internal technical ecosystem.Proactively predicts and identifies defects in software code and isolates/contains the defects to decrease and/or prevent customer impact.Provides technical expertise and reviews high-level test plan execution and quality assurance testing to ensure efficient and well-executed testing across multiple products or featurePlays a significant role in the test development and delivery of new features within a product from end-to-end.Actively contribute to product quality improvements, valuable service technology, and new business flows in diverse agile squads 

Creates complex test plans, reviews test plans created by others, and determines when specific testing procedures are necessary to identify and resolve defects upon identification, across a product. Prioritizes tests and tools that will be required to execute testing, with an understanding of other impacted components, and lists expected testing results that inform planning for one to many products.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• Five (5) years’ experience leading project teams
• Expert knowledge Selenium and Playwright required.
• Experience testing large scale web, mobile, and backend services
• Experience in testing 3rd party JavaScript applications
• Experience in financial technologies preferred
• Agile Development, Continuous Integration using Jenkins and automated testing experience
• Experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages including but not limited to: C/C++, Java, JavaScript or Go
• Strong Unix skills, proficient with at least one shell and one high-level scripting language.
• Real passion for high quality software engineering.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 119,700.00 to 173,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
