Position Title: CNC Machinist – 1st or 2nd Shift

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Obtain daily department job assignments
- Observe daily schedule requirements and communicate them to operators
- Provide necessary assistance to employees in the department
- Set up machines and work centers as required to meet schedule demands
- Track efficiencies and productivity within the department and report daily
- Communicate opportunities for process improvement
- Maintain all equipment in the department
- Attend company courses and assist on project teams when asked
- Completion, update and sign off job specific set-up documentation
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Ensure quality process is being followed by all employees
- Sign-off and accountability for scrap generated by department
- Maintain accountability within the department
- Attend courses or seminars and assist on project teams when asked

Requirements for CNC Machinist:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least two years of experience in a manufacturing environment; supervisory experience preferred
- Able to read and understand blueprints and work orders
- Experience using inspection equipment and training others
- Good communications skills
- Quality minded with strong attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
