Perform safety hazard assessments prior to initiating work to ensure elimination of hazards
Complete Tag, Lock, Clear and Try (TLCT) procedure on machines to assure equipment is inoperable and safe to work on
Ability to work in a team environment and communication with other employees using multiple methods of communication
Understand and participate in maintenance reliability programs and processes.
Utilize computer and administrative skills for feedback to the Work Management Process and SAP, or as directed by management
Other duties as assigned by Management
JOB QUALIFICATIONSThe following qualifications are required:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
2+ years of relevant maintenance experience/education in industrial plant
Possess an electrician license, completion of a mechanical apprenticeship, relevant military experience, or other related role
Ability to install, repair, replace all types of electrical equipment and wiring including the grounding procedure on all circuits.
Ability to operate shop equipment such as power tools, test gauges, meters, drill press, pipe cutter and threader, reamer, gas torch, grinders, pipe benders, etc.
Able to: lift or move up to 50 lbs.; climb stairs, ladders, and columns; stand, walk, stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, utilize visual acuity, reach overhead, hear and respond to alarms
