QA Associate

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a QA Associate (Food) near Bartlett, IL.

Direct Hire
Shift: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
Compensation: $25-29/hr 
 
Responsibilities:


Pre-shipment record review
Finished Product releases.
Quality Control Daily records review
Maintain Record Reviews and make them available during Audits.
New products supporting data collection and statistics
Help with the Quality Assurance team as needed, preparing audits, calibrations.
Maintain relation with client/customer in relation to specifications and documents
Cross collaboration with R&D on updating recipes and formulas
Help with customer complaint investigations
Support new project implementations
Other job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


BS in Food Science, Biology, or related science
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance of food manufacturing
 Certification(s): HACCP and BRC preferred 
Other Requirements include Basic principles of microbiology and biochemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry
Technology Experience: Shall be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint systems, JDE and Outlook
 Multi-task and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
 Team player and organized
Mathematical aptitude with analytical proficiency
