Description GENERAL SUMMARY: Provide support to the US NavyLOCATION: Pearl Harbor, HIPRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Proficient in ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair ship machinery such as, auxiliary motors, pumps, valves, launchers, ventilation equipment, steering gear, evaporators, heaters, pumps, condensers. Able to read & understand blue print layout, assembly and installation required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Prospective employees should have a minimum of 6 years' experience as a Mechanic. Experience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment Prospective employees must be a US Citizen with a Clean Background and able to pass a Drug Screen Experience working on all classes of ships (CVN, CG, DDG, SSN). Able to hold and maintain a security clearance a plus. Honolulu, HI residents preferred Experience working in a shipyard/ship repair environment High school diploma or GED equivalence Ability to obtain DBIDS is required.
