Performs and processes patient scintigraphic examinations and selected bioassays or therapeutic procedures.Observes continuous radiation safety practices at all times as stipulated in the ALARA principle and mandated by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.Performs non-clinical activities pertinent to equipment maintenance and NRC regulations for quality control and radiation monitoringPerforms imaging and therapeutic procedures according to requirements and other duties to assure quality patient care.Schedules patient procedures, documents patient information, presents proper patient information for interpretation and billing, and other non-clinical duties to support exam completionOperates the CPCS system for the hospital and radiologyDemonstrates concern for the patient and co-workers by performing activities other than primary care needsProvides age appropriate care to all patientsReports to: Nuclear Medicine SupervisorMinimum EducationCompletion of a Nuclear Medicine Program RequiredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
