Piping Draftsperson

DescriptionPosition: Piping Drafter Reports to: Drafting Manager (VDC)Location: Victaulic, West Jordan, UT Job Type: Full Time Since its establishment in 1982, Victaulic's VDC department has been at the forefront of delivering innovative services to customers, utilizing state-of-the-art processes and technology. At that time, Victaulic offered customers preplanning packages, which include estimates, complete bills of materials, and assembly drawings. Today, in 2024, the VDC department continues to lead the industry, providing 3D, 4D, and 5D models that meet BIM requirements, with estimates generated using advanced, in-house developed software. As our department continues to expand, we are seeking a Drafter to join our team in West Jordan, Utah, or remotely. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Utilize company drafting and product standards to detail projects of easy to moderate complexity
Develop documents, layouts, and sketches based on drawings and specifications
Coordinate and revise project documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit Software
Additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Associate Degree in drafting or related field preferred
Working knowledge of building and manufacturing industry preferred
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Understanding and application of basic mathematical calculations
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers across the organization (Internal and External Clients)
Self-motivated with attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
Ability to work overtime as necessary
Fluent in English
