Excellent customer service skillsKnowledge of operation and maintenance of implanted cardiac devices and related equipmentEnsures that OSHA and Joint Commission regulations are observed and maintainedAbility to identify abnormal/critical findings and immediately notify physicianConfirm daily schedulePerform implanted cardiac device checks by phone, office visit or remoteScan reports into EMR system and prepare chargesComplete knowledge of Medicare implanted cardiac device check regulations/frequencyProper sterile technique in removal of sutures/staplesMaintain necessary supplies for performance of dutiesCoordinate implanted cardiac device clinic schedule with physician visits if necessaryAbility to communicate effectively with all departments and physiciansAny other tasks requested by the physician or Practice ManagerDemonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.Minimum EducationHigh School Graduate or Equivalent requiredBachelors Degree preferredMinimum Work Experience3-5 years of experience in functions of various types of implanted cardiac devices.Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
